La FUS serait l\u2019occasion de p\u00e9renniser la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 collective du terrain public en le mettant enti\u00e8rement hors sp\u00e9culation et de lier l\u2019ensemble des parties prenantes autour d\u2019une mission commune et d\u2019une charte de valeurs et d\u2019aspirations qui porterait la vision d\u00e9finie par le milieu depuis plus de trente ans. Ainsi, \u00e0 l\u2019image d\u2019autres fiducies, il ne serait pas possible pour les d\u00e9veloppeurs d\u2019acheter des terrains: les b\u00e2timents construits seront en quelque sorte locataires et verseront des redevances \u00e0 la fiducie.  <\/p>\n<p>V\u00e9hicule juridique issu de la r\u00e9forme du Code civil, la FUS a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 sa pertinence et son efficacit\u00e9 \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al et ailleurs au Qu\u00e9bec dans la cr\u00e9ation de milieux de vie inclusifs, r\u00e9silients et solidaires, en ad\u00e9quation avec la planification du territoire et les besoins de la population.
